We just returned from a three week trip to Europe. It was a beautiful journey we were able to take with our grandson. Memories for us all! We started our trip in New York meeting our daughter and grandson for three days before we flew to London. This was the first time Gary and I had been to New York.

Phoenix (our grandson) and Rachel (our daughter) took us on a whirlwind tour of the Central Park and Times Square part of New York City. It was an amazing three days. We even took in a Broadway musical ... Chicago. It was amazing! We were 4 rows back from the stage to the right. There were times that we felt they were playing just to us. My first Broadway show and it was something to remember.
Phoenix took us to eat at a little place to Eat called Luke's. Oh my gosh ... I have never had such delicious lobster rolls, crab rolls and shrimp rolls. It is definitely going to be on my short list when we go back. Very little space to dine indoors but so close to Time's square with lots of tables and chairs to choose from.

We spent three days walking and exploring New York City, averaging about 25,000 steps a day. We walked through Central Park. Such a big beautiful park. We ate from street venders there and sat on a huge rock to enjoy our meal.

The kids (Rachel and Phoenix) went off to see an Off-Broadway show the 2nd night we were there. They loved it of course. They got all dressed up and off they went. Gary and I lounged in bed, we were exhausted LOL.

The third day we visited the Statue of Liberty over on Liberty Island. It was a cold rainy day but we loved it anyway.

The last night we went to see Chicago at Broadway. We weren't allowed to take pictures in there but believe me it was amazing. I did get a picture from my seat of the stage real quick.

| This is how close we were. Best seats in the house! |
We saw so many amazing things in New York City. This was my favorite graffiti wall we came across. I had to take it in two pictures to get it all.
My little friend the turtle at Central Park. He was panhandling ... looking for a handout.
Random shots of New York City as we strolled through.

| Loved the shape of this building. How amazing is that??? |
We visited the Met our last day in NYC and I'll be posting that on a post all it's own. I absolutely love New York!
