NYC - The Met - 6-16-2022

The Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art) is one of the most amazing museums in America.  It's huge though and we only had a couple of hours to spend there so of course I headed to the Greek and Roman area first, I wanted to make sure I got to see that.  Below are headstones from the Roman times.

I found a few statues that took pictures of as well as vases/urns and a few odds and ends.  I could get lost in this museum.

Then we moved on to the Egyptian area :

Then on to the religious area:

Gary and I were exhausted after 2 hours of exploring these areas of the museum and went outside to get a bottle of water and sit and rest a while.  He snapped a shot of me relaxing.  It was a gorgeous day.

From here we went back to the hotel, got a bit of food and dressed to walk to the Broadway show.  It was a full day of activity and we enjoyed it immensely!
